Press Release / 19th Thessaloniki International Wine Competition – Double Distinction for TSANTALI’s EMMETROS LOGOS

PRESS RELEASE

19th Thessaloniki International Wine Competition

DOUBLE DISTINCTION FOR TSANTALI’s EMMETROS LOGOS

Gold for the rosé and silver for the white wine of the brand’s range

2018 vintage granted TSANTALI’s EMMETROS LOGOS two medals, one for each label of the brand’s range, at this year’s Thessaloniki International Wine Competition.

EMMETROS LOGOS Rosé won gold, scoring the 2nd highest mark of the rosé category in the show, according to the Results announced on the 22nd February 2019.

Notable success for the brand’s white wine as well; on its first vintage produced with Malagousia grapes, EMMETROS LOGOS White was awarded a silver medal and managed to rise on the top 15% of all the awarded wines in the competition (a total of 831 labels from 5 countries).

This double distinction placed TSANTALI’s EMMETROS LOGOS among a rather eclectic circle of wine brands that succeeded in receiving medals for all the labels included in a brand range. Quite a remarkable proof of quality consistency.

EMMETROS LOGOS stands out for its exceptionally sophisticated label design with the elaborate quill as a symbol of the poetry (aka emmetros logos in Greek) created in the vineyards, where there is a constant interplay between reason and passion, judgments and enthusiasm, planning and vision, hard work and inspiration. The same elegance is reflected in the character of the wines -both rose and white- demonstrating a fine balance between aromas and flavours, crispiness and complexity. The EMMETROS LOGOS family was firstly introduced in 2016 enhancing TSANTALI’s portfolio. Since 2017, EMMETROS LOGOS Rosé is also available in an imposing magnum bottle of 1,5 Lt.
