The proposal with the distinctive title VITVIN is the result of a partnership between the companies “EVANGELOS TSANTALIS S.A” and “GALENICA PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY S.A” with the Research Organizations of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – Department of Pharmacy, BRFAA – Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – School of Medicine, Vascular Surgery Clinic, Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, University of Thessaly and joined Action ‘’Research – Create – Innovate’’ A’ Circle, with a total budget of 998.925,20 €.
The purpose of the VITVIN proposal is to exploit winemaking products as well as plant parts of the vine to produce extracts and enriched fractions with the aim of developing innovative health nutritional supplements to treat venous insufficiency. A dynamic project for the management of the plan and the dissemination of the results will lead to its successful implementation.
The contribution of EPAnEK significantly enhances the partnership of Businesses with Research Organizations, bringing benefits to both the country’s competitiveness and Applied research through Universities and Businesses.
